Bonginkosi Ntuli: Downs to Part Ways With Striker

Despite his impressive show during the second half of the 2016/17 season with Platinum Stars,  Bonginkosi Ntuli is set to be released by Mamelodi Sundowns.

However, Pitso Mosimane has said the player is not part of his future plans and his technical team at the Chloorkop club.

Reports from the media say Bonginkosi Ntuli will be sold during the July/August transfer window.

And Dikwena are reportedly keen to sign Ntuli from Downs on a permanent deal. The negotiations between the North West club and Sundowns about a potential deal have been ongoing.

“The negotiations have been ongoing. It’s not yet clear what will happen in the next few weeks or so, but what has become evident is that the player won’t be playing for Sundowns next season,” a source told Soccer Laduma.

Ntuli was born on 28 March 1991 and was on the books of Sundowns, until recently. He began his career in the Vodacom League with Sobantu Shooting Stars before joining the Golden Arrows reserve team.

He made his debut for Arrows in January 2012.

Meanwhile, Stars will ink a deal with former Botswana coach Peter Butler to become Cavin Johnson’s replacement as the club’s new head coach. - Online Sources
